How to Use Eventtree

Everything you need to know about discovering events, hosting your own, and managing the platform.

For Attendees

Find events, buy tickets, and get in with a QR code.

Discover Events

Browse upcoming events on the homepage or use the search bar to find events by name, location, or date. Filter by event type: ticketed, free, or private.

Buy Tickets

Select your tickets on the event page and checkout securely with Stripe. You'll receive an email confirmation with your ticket details.

Your Tickets

View all your purchased tickets on the My Tickets page. Each ticket has a unique QR code for check-in at the event.

Refunds

Request a refund from the My Tickets page. Refund eligibility depends on the host's policy: Flexible (full refund 24h before), Moderate (50% refund 48h before), or Strict (no refunds).

For Hosts

Create events, sell tickets, and manage attendees.

Create an Event

Go to Host → Events → New Event. Fill in your event details, set ticket tiers with prices, add a cover image, and publish.

Get Paid

Eventtree handles all payment processing. After your event concludes, payouts are automatically sent to you. Track your earnings and payout status from the Payouts page.

Manage Attendees

View your attendee list from the event management page. Use the built-in QR scanner to check in guests at the door.

Fees & Pricing

Platform fee is 5% + $0.50 per paid ticket. You can choose to absorb fees or pass them to buyers. Free events have no fees.

Gallery & FAQs

Add gallery images and frequently asked questions to your event page to give attendees more information about your event.

Create a public host profile. Attendees can follow you and see all your upcoming events in one place.

Total Event Management

Eventtree isn't just ticketing — it's your complete event management platform from start to finish. Every event comes with a full dashboard to plan, organize, and track everything.

Task Management

Plan every detail with built-in task boards. Organize tasks by category — flyers, drinks, bartenders, DJs, sound & lighting, catering, security, influencers, and more. Track progress with status updates.

Crew Management

Add your crew members — DJs, bartenders, security, photographers, and anyone helping at your event. Track their roles, contact info, costs, and payment status all in one place.

Budget Tracking

Set estimated costs for each budget item and track actual spending as you go. See your total budget vs. actual spend at a glance so you always know where you stand financially.

Invoices

Create and manage invoices directly from your event dashboard. Send outgoing invoices to pay crew members or receive incoming invoices from sponsors. Track status from draft to paid.

Promo Codes

Create discount codes for your event — percentage off or fixed amount. Set usage limits and expiration dates. Share codes with influencers or VIPs to drive ticket sales.

Your central command center. Get a real-time overview of ticket sales, revenue, attendance, tasks, budget, and more — all from a single dashboard for each event.
